Real people. Real results.

My primary care doctor said we can talk about potentially discontinuing my blood pressure and cholesterol medication at my next appointment. I am beyond thrilled by this news and cannot thank you enough for helping me.

Dianne
Patient

The first appointment was very eye-opening. None of my doctors asked me even half of the questions Tim did. I'm looking forward to working with the Monroe Center for Integrative Health and finally start getting some relief.

I would have never guessed that just a few small changes would have made such a big difference! Wow! My brain fog and joint pain are already improving. I am just so glad and grateful that I found you.

Healing
starts here

There are hundreds of factors that influence your health and wellness. We’ll help you figure out which of them are having an impact on you. Our compassionate, dedicated, and board-certified clinicians are here to educate, empower, guide, and support you along your healing journey.

Step 1
Case Review & Phone Consultation

All of our prospective patients begin with a complimentary case review and 20-minute telephone consultation. This provides you with the opportunity to get to know us and it allows us to determine if and how we might be able to help you.

During the case review and consultation, you'll have the opportunity to share your health story and learn how our center works. We'll discuss the process of becoming a new patient, costs, and answer your questions.

At the end of your consultation, you'll decide when to schedule your first appointment. If you're not ready, you can tell us when to follow-up with you.

Step 2
Comprehensive Functional Health Evaluation

During your first 90-minute appointment (which can be virtual or in-person) we’ll listen to your story and evaluate hundreds of different variables that influence your health.

We’ll use the information we gather from you to create a personalized Functional and Integrative Health Plan (FIHP) and Functional Nutrition Matrix (FNM). You can think of your FIHP as your personalized roadmap to accomplishing your health-related goals. It’s detailed and comprehensive, but easy to understand.

You’ll leave feeling hopeful about the future of your health.

Step 3
Functional Health Activation & Review

Your second 60-minute Activation appointment is dedicated to reviewing your Functional & Integrative Health Plan together. We’ll go through each section at a pace that works for you. Along the way, we’ll answer your questions and make adjustments based on your feedback. After all, you know your body best.

The goal of this appointment is for you to gain an understanding of precisely what you can do to start feeling better and making progress.

By the end of our time together, you’ll feel motivated and excited about what’s in store for your body in the weeks and months to come.

Step 4
Integration Program

We’ll work together to decide what level and type of support you need to continue healing.

Whether it’s as-needed follow-up appointments or a more structured care alliance, we’ll make sure you’re supported.

You’ll never feel pressured to purchase expensive diagnostic tests, supplements, or services if they don’t fit your budget. Plus, we have a number of different payment options available to ensure your financial wellness.

FAQs

Unfortunately, commercial insurance companies, Medicare and Medicaid do not cover integrative, natural, or functional health services yet.

To make our programs affordable, we have partnered with several third-party financing providers to offer you flexible payment options that fit your budget and ensure your financial well-being.

Along with most major credit cards, PayPal, and Apple Pay, we accept Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) payments.

Our program is meant to supplement the care you receive from your current healthcare team, not replace it. With your consent, we’re happy to collaborate and communicate with your healthcare providers. In fact, some providers request that we do so.

We can provide your care team with a monthly update on your progress, request additional testing and assessments, and advocate for you to receive the care you deserve. If we start noticing changes that suggest you may need medication adjustments (or are ready to come off your medication altogether), we’ll refer you to the appropriate provider.

Our programs are designed to be personalized, flexible, and adaptable to your preferences. You never have to pay us anything beyond our program fee. If you are interested in additional testing or supplements, you can choose the lab or supplement brand that resonates with you, or none at all. If you’d like, we can provide you with discounted rates for physician-ordered lab testing and supplementation through our partners. We can also support you with identifying providers that fit your budget and ensure your financial well-being.

Yes, we welcome and are intentional about cultivating a safe, inclusive, and trauma-informed space for LGBTQ+ patients.

Yes, we can provide virtual/telehealth appointments to all Georgia residents.

Our approach to patient care is drastically different from that of traditional medical offices in many ways. We treat each of our patients with compassion and we give you plenty of time to share your story.

Our private and comfortable office environment was designed and furnished to promote healing and relaxation, so you won’t feel like you’re at a doctor’s office. Additionally, our intake and evaluation process is far more comprehensive than most traditional health.

During your first 90-minute appointment, we’ll be discussing topics like your stress levels, dietary practices, sleep habits, home environment, childhood illness experiences, and your own personal views and perspectives on your health and body. If you’d rather not discuss something, we’ll respect that. If you have questions, you’ll have plenty of time to ask them.

Similar to any other healthcare provider, we use clinically validated surveys and biometric data to keep track of your growth, healing, and recovery. Plus, you can decide what factors are most important to you, and we’ll be sure to track them, too. If we start noticing changes that suggest you may need medication adjustments (or are ready to come off your medication altogether), we’ll refer you to the appropriate provider.

No. The Monroe Center for Integrative Health is independently owned and operated by its founder and clinical director. We have not and will not receive funding from private equity (PE) or venture capital (VC) funds.

We provide functional nutrition counseling, medical nutrition therapy (MNT), functional nutrition counseling and evaluations, integrative health coaching, and natural health consulting for patients with a chronic or autoimmune disease.

If indicated, we can help you access physician-ordered laboratory testing through our partners or your existing health care team.

We work with pediatric patients on a case-by-case basis. Generally speaking, we do not see patients younger than 13 years of age. Parental consent for our services is required for anyone under the legal age of consent in the state of Georgia.
